06 Nights / 07 Days
Day 01: Arrival in Colombo and Transfer to Negombo
- Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport.
- Transfer to your hotel in Negombo for a restful start near the coast.
- Birdwatching along the Negombo Lagoon, known for its waterbirds and mangrove tours.
Day 02: Negombo to Wilpattu National Park
- Early breakfast, then drive to Wilpattu National Park, Sri Lanka’s largest national park, famed for its leopard and sloth bear sightings.
- Afternoon jeep safari in Wilpattu for a chance to spot leopards, elephants, and endemic birds.
- Overnight stay at a wildlife lodge or eco-camp near the park.
Day 03: Wilpattu to Sigiriya/Habarana
- Morning safari or birdwatching session in Wilpattu.
- Journey to Sigiriya/Habarana, located within reach of several top parks.
- Evening village walk or visit to a local lake, watching for monkeys, monitor lizards, and waterbirds.
Day 04: Minneriya or Kaudulla National Park
- Morning at leisure or optional visit to the Sigiriya Rock Fortress (for panoramic views and birdlife).
- Afternoon jeep safari at Minneriya or Kaudulla National Park, famous for “The Gathering” of wild elephants, especially between June and September.
- Spot deer, buffalo, sambar, and a diverse array of birds.
- Overnight in Sigiriya.
Day 05: Habarana to Kandy
- Travel to Kandy, stopping for spice gardens in Matale to learn about Sri Lankan flora.
- Visit the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, home to over 4,000 plant species, fruit bats, and colorful birds.
- Evening stroll around Kandy Lake.
- Overnight in Kandy.
Day 06: Kandy to Yala National Park
- Depart early for the south, heading to Yala National Park, Sri Lanka’s premier wildlife destination.
- Afternoon jeep safari in Yala National Park, renowned for its high density of leopards, as well as elephants, crocodiles, and hundreds of bird species.
- Night at a safari lodge near Yala.
Day 07: Yala and Departure
- Early morning safari for the best chance to spot big cats and other wildlife active at dawn.
- Depart for the airport or extend your journey with a beach stay nearby (perhaps in Tangalle or Mirissa for whale watching, if seasonally appropriate).

- Normal check in/out time of hotels is 1200 hrs. We can request for early check in or late check outs but these cannot be guaranteed.

Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation made 21 days or more before the tour start date will receive a full refund without bank chargers.
- Cancellation made 14-21 days before the tour start date will receive 50% refund without bank chargers.
- Cancellation made 07-14 days before the tour start date will receive 25% refund without bank chargers.
- Cancellation made less than 07 days before the tour start date or no shows are non-refundable.
