The Jungle Whispers journey is a 16-day wildlife and nature-focused adventure across Sri Lanka’s most captivating landscapes. Beginning in the tranquil lagoons of Negombo, the trip moves into the wild heart of Wilpattu National Park, where leopards, sloth bears, and wetland birds roam. From the ancient ruins of Anuradhapura to the towering Sigiriya Rock Fortress, cultural heritage blends seamlessly with natural beauty. Travelers will explore UNESCO-listed forests in the Knuckles Mountain Range, experience the serenity of Gal Oya’s lake safaris, and meet the indigenous Vedda community. The adventure continues with thrilling game drives in Yala, birdwatching in Bundala, and intimate elephant encounters in Udawalawe. The journey ends with a relaxing beach escape in Bentota, offering the perfect balance of wilderness, culture, and coastal leisure.
15 Nights / 16 Days
Day 01: Arrival in Negambo
- Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport.
- Settle into a Negambo hotel near the lagoon, a haven water birds and mangroves.
Day 02: Negambo to Wilpattu National Park
- Drive to Wilpattu National Park, Sri Lankan largest national park.
- Afternoon game drive to seek leopards, sloth bears, deer, and wetland birds.
- Overnight at a safari camp or lodge on the park’s edge.
Day 03: Full day at Wilpattu
- Morning and afternoon safaris, seek out elusive wildlife and enjoy the wild lakes.
- Night walk with a guide, listening for owls and searching for nocturnal mammals.
Day 04: Wilpattu to Anuradhapura
- Depart for the ancient city of Anuradhapura which is in Cultural Triangle.
- Explore sprawling ruins, ancient tanks, and woodlands home to monkeys and birds.
- Overnight in Anuradhapura.
Day 05: Anuradhapura to Sigiriya
- Transfer east to Sigiriya, with a rural afternoon nature walk.
- In the evening, spot local wildlife around lakes and paddy fields.
Day 06: Minneriya or Kaudulla National Park
- Early morning climb of Sigiriya Lion’s Rock.
- Afternoon safari at Minneriya or Kaudulla to see herds of wild elephants and a variety of waterfowl.
Day 07: Sigiriya – Knuckles Mountain Range
- Scenic drive to Knuckles Range, a UNESCO listed forest region.
- Settle into an eco-lodge and enjoy a short guided nature walk.
Day 08: Knuckles Mountain Range
- Knuckles hiking and birding guided trek through cloud forests and tea estates.
- Look for endemic birds, lizards, and butterflies.
- Visit local waterfalls and viewpoints before returning to your Lodge.
Day 09: Knuckles to Gal Oya National Park
- Travel east to Gal Oya, a less-visited wilderness.
- Boat safari on Senanayake Samudra Lake-Watch for elephants swimming between islands and water birds at sunset.
Day 10: Gal Oya Safari and Indigenous Heritage
- Morning safari or forest walk.
- Cultural encounter with Vedda people, learning about traditional knowledge of flora and fauna.
Day 11: Gal Oya to Yala National Park
- Head to Yala, the most famous safari destination in Sri Lanka.
- Evening at leisure in a nature lodge.
Day 12: Full Day in Yala
- Morning and afternoon game drives: Search for leopards, elephants, crocodiles, wild boar, and a stunning variety of birds.
Day 13: Yala to Bundala and Udawalawe
- Morning visit to Bundala National Park, a UNESCO wetland and birding hotspot.
- Continue to Udawalawe.
- Night stay at Udawalawe
Day 14: Udawalawe National Park Safari
- Early morning safari, renowned for close-up elephant encounters and water birds.
- Afternoon relax or optional visit to the Elephant Transit Home, where orphaned elephants are cared for.
Day 15: Benthota Beach Stay Day
- Relax on beach
Day 16: Departure
- Depending on departure time, transfer to Colombo or directly to the airport.

- Normal check in/out time of hotels is 1200 hrs. We can request for early check in or late check outs but these cannot be guaranteed.

Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation made 21 days or more before the tour start date will receive a full refund without bank chargers.
- Cancellation made 14-21 days before the tour start date will receive 50% refund without bank chargers.
- Cancellation made 07-14 days before the tour start date will receive 25% refund without bank chargers.
- Cancellation made less than 07 days before the tour start date or no shows are non-refundable.
