This 7-day cultural heritage tour begins with an arrival in Colombo, followed by a visit to the charming coastal town of Negombo, known for its colonial history, Dutch Fort, and local fishing culture. The journey continues to the Dambulla Cave Temple, famous for its ancient Buddhist murals and statues. Further travels take you to the historic sites of Sigiriya and Polonnaruwa, with a stop at the Spice Gardens in Matale to experience Sri Lanka’s rich spice traditions, concluding in Kandy, the island’s last royal city. Throughout the trip, guests have the chance to explore significant cultural landmarks while staying in recommended accommodations.

Day 01: Arrival in Colombo and Transfer to Negombo
- Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport.
- Meet your guide and transfer to Negombo, a coastal town with colonial charm.
- Visit the Dutch Fort, St. Mary’s Church, and the traditional fishermen’s huts.
- Enjoy a sunset walk along the Negombo Lagoon.
Day 02: Negombo to Sigiriya (via Dambulla)
- Depart for the Cultural Triangle.
- En route, explore the Dambulla Cave Temple, famed for its Buddhist murals and statues.
- Arrive at Sigiriya and check in to your hotel.
- Evening at leisure or optional village walk.
Day 03: Sigiriya and Polonnaruwa
- Early morning climb to the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, with its ancient frescoes and stunning views.
- Afternoon visit to Polonnaruwa, the medieval capital, to see its royal palaces, monumental statues, and well-preserved temples.
- Return to Sigiriya for the night.
Day 04: Sigiriya to Kandy (via Matale)
- Travel towards Kandy, the last royal city.
- Stop at the Spice Gardens in Matale to learn about Sri Lanka’s rich spice heritage.
- In Kandy, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic, a UNESCO World Heritage site and important pilgrimage location.
- In the Evening, Witness a traditional Kandyan dance performance.
Day 05: Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
- Scenic train journey or drive through lush tea plantations to Nuwara Eliya, known as “Little England.”
- Tour a colonial-era tea factory and sample locally grown teas.
- Explore the historic post office, Victoria Park, and Gregor Lake.
- Overnight in a heritage hotel.
Day 06: Nuwara Eliya to Galle (via Ella and Southern Coast)
- Early morning drive through the misty mountains to the Ella Gap for panoramic views.
- Continue towards the southern coast, stopping at either Ravana Falls or Nine Arch Bridge.
- Reach Galle, a port city steeped in Dutch colonial history.
- Walk the ramparts of Galle Fort at sunset.
Day 07: Galle and Departure
- Stroll through the cobblestone streets of Galle Fort, visiting its museums, churches, and lighthouse.
- Last-minute shopping for handicrafts and souvenirs.
- Transfer to Colombo or airport for departure (depending on your flight time).

Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation made 21 days or more before the tour start date will receive a full refund without bank chargers.
- Cancellation made 14-21 days before the tour start date will receive 50% refund without bank chargers.
- Cancellation made 07-14 days before the tour start date will receive 25% refund without bank chargers.
- Cancellation made less than 07 days before the tour start date or no shows are non-refundable.
