Cultural Triangle presents a detailed 9-day cultural tour centered around Sri Lanka, a region celebrated for its ancient sites and rich heritage. The journey commences with the travelers’ arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo, where they are transferred to a comfortable hotel to rest after their flight. The first day is designed for relaxation and allows visitors to adjust to the local environment, time zone, and climate. This initial downtime also provides an opportunity to prepare mentally and physically for the exciting days ahead, which are filled with visits to key historical landmarks, ancient temples, and culturally significant locations within the triangle. Evenings during the stay are left open for guests to explore local cuisine, unwind in the hotel surroundings, or simply enjoy some peaceful leisure time.

Day 01: Arrival in Colombo
- Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport.
- Rest and relax at a Colombo hotel.
- Evening walk through the Dutch Hospital district or watch the sunset at Galle Face Green.
Day 02: Colombo to Anuradhapura
- Head north to Anuradhapura, the island’s first great capital.
- Wander among gigantic stupas, ancient monasteries, and the sacred Bo tree.
- Overnight in Anuradhapura.
Day 03: Anuradhapura & Mihintale
- Continue exploring Anuradhapura’s impressive ruins and tranquil ponds.
- Afternoon visit to Mihintale, birthplace of Buddhism in Sri Lanka; climb to panoramic viewpoints.
- Evening at leisure.
Day 04: Anuradhapura to Polonnaruwa
- Journey east to Polonnaruwa.
- Cycle by the great lake and explore iconic sites like Gal Vihara Buddha statues and the Royal Palace.
- Overnight in Polonnaruwa.
Day 05: Polonnaruwa to Sigiriya
- Visit more marvels in Polonnaruwa if desired, and then transfer to Sigiriya.
- Settle into your accommodation.
- Late afternoon village experience.
Day 06: Sigiriya & Dambulla
- Climb Sigiriya Lion’s Rock Fortress early for sweeping views.
- Later, explore the Dambulla Cave Temples with stunning centuries-old murals and statues.
- Evening relaxation at your hotel.
Day 07: Habarana Village Life & Minneriya Safari (optional)
- Try a hands-on rural experience like bullock cart ride, local cooking, or chena farming.
- Optional afternoon jeep safari in Minneriya or Kaudulla to view wild elephants.
- Overnight in Sigiriya.
Day 08: Sigiriya to Kandy (The Hill Capital)
- Travel south to Kandy, the living heart of tradition.
- Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic a major Buddhist pilgrimage site.
- Sunset stroll by Kandy Lake and visit the colonial-era market.
Day 09: Kandy & Departure
- Morning at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Peradeniya, famous for orchids and lush history.
- Transfer to Colombo airport for your departure.

- Normal check in/out time of hotels is 1200 hrs. We can request for early check in or late check outs but these cannot be guaranteed.

Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation made 21 days or more before the tour start date will receive a full refund without bank chargers.
- Cancellation made 14-21 days before the tour start date will receive 50% refund without bank chargers.
- Cancellation made 07-14 days before the tour start date will receive 25% refund without bank chargers.
- Cancellation made less than 07 days before the tour start date or no shows are non-refundable.
